My SAD Relief

My SAD seems to be kind of sporadic in terms of when it really hits me. The worst is going to work. I have a very difficult time approaching people, and walking into a meeting. One small kind of "OCD thing" I've found helpful is holding some sort of water bottle with a strap, a cell phone, or anything you can comfortably carry around with you, and gripping/hard pressing down on said object with my thumb or fingers. The massaging sensation has proven effective in calming my nerves. I know this is a bit out there. But, believe it or not, it's gotten me through more days in the office than I can count.
